Supporting domestic manufacturing in the petrochemical industry with a focus on Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company

Iran’s petrochemical industry is on the verge of another leap to achieve a distinguished position in the world. Based on the implemented plans, in the second petrochemical leap, the industry’s revenue will reach $25 billion in 1400 and $37 billion in 1404 with the realization of the third leap of the petrochemical industry, which will lead to the promotion of Iran’s position and its inclusion in the top 5 countries in the world in the field of petrochemical products production. In this direction, the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Holding, with 22 active production and service companies and 10 designs and projects in hand, will play a major role in this great transformation.

Following the naming of 2019 by the Supreme Leader as the Year of Production Prosperity, and considering the determination of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company to support and utilize domestic capacity to the maximum in the fields of consulting, engineering, production of products and services, purchase maximum Iranian products in order to support domestic producers, utilize the capacity of knowledge-based companies, pay attention to strengthening the production chain in the petrochemical industry, and launch the domestic construction movement in the petrochemical industry, the need for close ties between the holding’s branches and subsidiaries with service providers and related product producers is felt more than ever.

In this regard, Baharan Tadbir Kish Company, in cooperation with the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, the Iranian Oil Industry Equipment Manufacturers Association (ISTESNA), and other stakeholders in this strategic area, have taken action to hold an exhibition and specialized conference to support domestic construction in the petrochemical industry (with a focus on Persian Gulf Holding) from February 17 to 19 on Kish Island.

All subsidiaries of Persian Gulf Holding are present at this exhibition and, on the one hand, they will discuss the areas of domestication with equipment manufacturers and manufacturing companies, and on the other hand, all knowledge-based, innovative and service companies active in the petrochemical industry and related industries (after obtaining a registration privilege for attendance), providing opportunities for expanding cooperation and concluding mutual understandings in order to support national production. Various specialized meetings have also been prepared in the form of conferences, specialized workshops and business matching sessions (B2B and B2C).
